Dinner Theaters in Kissimmee
Our first stop takes us to Kissimmee where 2 good dinner theaters come to mind. These would be Arabian Nights, home of the American Princess and the Medieval Times® Dinner and Tournament.
Arabian Nights is billed as a tale of adventure and romance featuring the Al-Marah Arabian horses in the show. The plot line is about an American young lady who discovers herself as a princess. The show itself is about 1 1/2 hours and admission includes an appetizer buffet.
Close by in Kissimmee is the Medieval Times Tournament and Dinner Show. 6 different knights joust to the delight of the crowd adjacent to the tournament theatre. The venue here locally is one of nine located nationwide. From beginning to end, the show lasts about 2 hours. Several Kissimmee house rental neighborhoods will be within minutes of both dinner theaters. These include BellaVida Resort, Cumbrian Lakes, Terra Verde, the Villas at 7 Dwarfs Lane plus others.
Kissimmee’s Family Amusement Park
Old Town Kissimmee is a casual family style amusement park in west Kissimmee. This park is like going to a night time street carnival Florida style and the price is right. There are culinary treats such as corn dogs, hamburgers and candy cotton along with ferris wheels and other rides. Special events in Old Town include Thursday Night country music and the Saturday Night car cruise. The fun begins at approximately 8:30 pm with hot rods and street rods.
Resort communities for short term renters are ample and plentiful in the vicinity of Old Town Kissimmee. Regal Oaks is the closest with others nearby including Lake Berkley, Lindfields and Indian Ridge.
World Class Evening Entertainment at Walt Disney World®
First, we must admit that selecting Cirque de Soleil® for this does violate our opening moniker. It is located in Downtown Disney at the Walt Disney World Resort®, and of course one of the area’s major parks. However, no listing of evening entertainment in Orlando would be complete without mentioning this incredible spectacle.
Cirque de Soleil® La Nouba® is a dazzling acrobatic show that almost defies description. The music is dramatic and eclectic, and the show is truly breathtaking.The tickets for this show are a little more expensive, but this venue features evening entertainment that cannot be found elsewhere.
We personally have friends that have been back to see this show several times and the show never seems to lose its sensational impact.
